The North Surgical Ward was established with the construction of Mayo Hospital in 1871. This unit features separate male and female bays, each with the capacity to accommodate approximately 30 patients, including both trauma and elective cases. Additionally, the ward includes a 10-bed High Dependency Unit (HDU) for both male and female patients. The unit offers outpatient services twice a week.
