About FOMH Main Goal
At FOMH Care, we believe quality healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Founded in 2024 by Americans of Pakistani Descent including King Edward Medical University alumni, we partner with Friends of Mayo Hospital in Pakistan to bring transformative change to one of South Asia’s largest and most historic medical facilities.
Since its establishment in 1871, Mayo Hospital was designed to serve just 300 patients. Today, it struggles to accommodate over 20,000 daily visitors, with outdated and overcrowded facilities compromising care. Many wards have seen little renovation in decades, highlighting the urgent need for improvement.
By renovating these wards, we restore not only infrastructure but also dignity to patients and their families. Clean, modern facilities improve recovery rates, reduce infections, and provide a compassionate environment for care.
Join us in bridging the gap between Mayo Hospital’s historic legacy and its future, and help us create a healthier, more equitable world for thousands in need.
