Every Ramadan, Friends of Mayo Hospital continues its tradition of providing Iftari to over 400 attendants of patients at the Musafir Khana within Mayo Hospital. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Iftari was safely packed in styrofoam boxes; now, we have transitioned back to hosting Dastarkhans, serving Iftari along with Sharbat each day. In 2024, attendees were served Chicken Qorma, Naan, Samosa, Khajur, Rooh Afza, and Jalebi. This initiative is made possible through the generosity of our donors and the support of King Edward Medical University students, along with our ambassadors, who volunteer to assist our staff in serving Iftari. FOMH is grateful for their kindness and commitment to this noble cause.
